A bit about us:

A well-established machining and repair organization is seeking a skilled Millwright to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, alignment experience, and the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment in both shop and field environments.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Install, assemble, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment
  • Perform precision alignment of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment (laser and dial indicator methods)
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including bearings, shafts, conveyors, and hydraulic components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability
  • Support machining and fabrication teams as needed
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards
  • Travel to customer sites for field service work as required

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Millwright or in industrial maintenance/mechanical repair
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and alignment techniques
  • Experience with rigging, lifting, and equipment installation
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in machining environments or repair shops
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • OSHA safety training or certifications
