The Millwright installs machinery and equipment in an industrial establishment by performing the following:

Required:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
8+ years of millwright experience, including supervisory or lead roles.
High level of safety and quality
Ability to multi-task at a fast pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.)
Good problem-solving skills

Forklift experience - Preferred
Computer Software - Preferred
Warehouse experience - Preferred
Lead and perform mechanical installations, shutdowns, repairs, and maintenance work
Train and mentor millwrights and support a strong safety culture
Work with management to improve maintenance and equipment reliability
Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs with minimal supervision
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Dismantle, move, align, assemble, and install machinery and equipment
Build foundations and secure machinery by bolting, welding, or fastening
Operate lathes and tools to machine parts to specification
Repair, lubricate, and maintain equipment
Perform basic electrical tasks related to motor replacement
Install robotic equipment and make basic program changes
Supervise small crews and see projects through completion
Follow all safety, quality, and food/feed safety requirements
Work overtime and respond to emergency call-outs as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
