This is a full-time position with a base salary in addition to commission opportunities, benefits, and 401k match.

### Position Summary Responsible for selling grain handling equipment, millwright services, and industrial maintenance solutions to agricultural grain and commercial customers. This position supports both the agricultural grain sector and industrial/factory maintenance markets with responsibilities divided according to market demand.

This role blends industrial mechanical expertise with customer-facing sales skills, enabling assessment of facility needs in addition to promoting grain solutions. This individual uses their technical millwright knowledge to assess customer needs, recommend solutions, prepare proposals, and support installations and service activities. This role also requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand grain systems and equipment.

### Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Relationship Management

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities with grain sector entities (grain elevators, co-ops, farms, commercial grain-handling facilities, etc.) for our millwright grain division.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities within factory sector/industrial/mfg environments, including prospects needing machinery installation, scheduled maintenance, equipment repairs, and long-term industrial service agreements for the millwright factory division.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate customer facilities, equipment layout, and operational needs.
  • Leverage millwright expertise in installation, mechanical diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to tailor solutions to customer operational needs.
  • Collaborate to prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and project scopes.
  • Work closely with project managers, millwright teams, and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction from sale to installation.
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships through follow-up service coordination and ongoing support.
  • Maintain a structured sales pipeline, track opportunities, and provide regular forecasts to management.

Technical Millwright Expertise

  • Provide expert guidance on grain legs, conveyors, towers, catwalks, grain bins, grain dryers, etc.
  • Explain technical specifications, maintenance requirements, and equipment capabilities to customers.
  • Support troubleshooting discussions and assist service teams by understanding component systems (i.e., mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).

Operational Collaboration

  • Coordinate with the millwright and teams to create accurate project schedules.
  • Ensure customer expectations align with engineering, safety, and project requirements.
  • Assist with equipment ordering and vendor coordination.

## Position Requirements

### Required Skills/Abilities

  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in millwright work, grain systems, or related agricultural/grain equipment field.
  • Prior sales experience in agricultural equipment, grain handling, industrial services, or millwright work.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Comfort climbing structures, inspecting equipment, and performing hands-on evaluations.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and customer accounts.
