Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Millwrights for projects located in the San Antonio, TX area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $32-40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Troubleshoot 5 production lines
- Prepare, implement, and support weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance as required for all machines and equipment
- Repair as needed: Operation Equipment, Warehouse Equipment, Facility, Electrical, Plumbing.
- Safekeeping and inventory of a small tools, kits, and power tools.
- Set- up of all equipment prior to production runs, changeovers, and assembly (or disassembly).
- Operate either line (or both, if required)
- Work with all departments to maintain production and facility goals
- Complete daily records and work orders as needed
- Understand levels of line downtime caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause
- Using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment
- Equipment should be modified, lubricated, diagnosed, and operated
- Industrial control systems must be maintained
- Create and report repairs
- Complete the necessary work order documentation and keep track of the parts and materials used
Requirements
- Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic experience required
- Bachelor's degree or industry specific certification preferred
- 2+ years of maintenance experience is required
- GED or high school diploma
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
