Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Millwrights for projects located in the San Antonio, TX area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $32-40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

  • Troubleshoot 5 production lines
  • Prepare, implement, and support weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance as required for all machines and equipment
  • Repair as needed: Operation Equipment, Warehouse Equipment, Facility, Electrical, Plumbing.
  • Safekeeping and inventory of a small tools, kits, and power tools.
  • Set- up of all equipment prior to production runs, changeovers, and assembly (or disassembly).
  • Operate either line (or both, if required)
  • Work with all departments to maintain production and facility goals
  • Complete daily records and work orders as needed
  • Understand levels of line downtime caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause
  • Using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment
  • Equipment should be modified, lubricated, diagnosed, and operated
  • Industrial control systems must be maintained
  • Create and report repairs
  • Complete the necessary work order documentation and keep track of the parts and materials used

Requirements

  • Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic experience required
  • Bachelor's degree or industry specific certification preferred
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience is required
  • GED or high school diploma
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
