Millwright

AHI, a member of The Baillie Group, is recruiting for a Millwright; this position would require some travel, but will be based in our West Point, VA location. We are searching for a qualified individual who has experience with industrial equipment repairs. This is a full time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.Millwright Responsibilities:

Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportationBuild foundation for machinesConstruct and install equipmentReview and interpret engineering specifications, schematics and blueprintsTransfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenanceGrind and file machinery partsFabrication of both buildings and hardwood drying equipment, including servicing and replacing dry lines, kilns, etc.Work with range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and metal fabrication equipmentFollow all safety guidelines, policies and proceduresTraveling as needed.

Millwright Qualifications:

GED/High School Degree Preferred and an accredited Millwright certificate preferredMinimum of at least 5 years experience as a Millwright or similar jobExperience with Cleereman, PHL and other hardwood specialty equipment manufacturers preferredExperience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMust be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and must be able to interface and communicateAbility to work independentlyAbility to travelMust have a valid Driver's License, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent vehicles in your name

Millwright Pay and Benefits:

Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $20 - $30/hour * Full Plan of BenefitsTravel and Tool Costs Covered
