Based out of Denver, you will play a key support role for customers of our intuitive open‑pit mine‑planning solutions—Micromine Beyond and Spry. In this role you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality pre‑ and post‑sales support activity, including technical product demonstrations, tenders, proof of concept model builds, software evaluation, campaigns, promotions, conferences and events.Reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager–Mining, your key responsibilities will include:Assist the sales team by providing technical support during pre‑sales demonstrations, trade shows, and other promotional events as requestedDeveloping and maintaining long‑term customer relationshipsCreate and present strategic technical demonstrations to customers with a solution and value focusProvide training to current and new software users. Such training may take place at a client's site, at a third‑party venue or onlineProvide our clients with telephone, email and face‑to‑face supportBETA testing new versions and products, providing feedback, and assessing impacts on support procedures and documentationAbout YouYou will have a background within operational mining, focusing on mine planning.Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:A tertiary qualification in Mine EngineeringExperience with Open Pit miningA minimum of 7 years' experience in analysis, design, implementation, and support of mine planning and scheduling systemsOperational onsite mining experienceExperience with general purpose mining softwareExperience with coal/hard rock mining preferredClient‑facing experience in a software or consulting services company preferredThe ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time—throughout the AmericasSpanish and English professional fluency preferred (spoken and written)Next StepsReady to join the Micromine team?
