Job Summary:

Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular Surgeon Opportunity – HCA Florida JFK Hospital

HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Palm Beach, Florida, is seeking a board-certified cardiovascular surgeon specializing in minimally invasive robotic surgery to join a highly collaborative and dynamic team of clinicians. Our multidisciplinary team includes cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and advanced heart failure specialists working together to enhance heart care in our community.

Qualified Candidates:

• MD/DO

• Completed a CV surgery fellowship – Board Certified (U.S.)

• Minimum of 3–5 years of post-fellowship practice experience required

• Additional specialty training in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiac Surgery is preferred

• Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a large health system

• Expertise in procedures including CABG with multi-arterial conduits, aortic and mitral valve repair/replacement

• Experience with transcatheter therapies (TAVR, TEER, etc.) to collaborate with our interventional cardiology team

• Collaborative approach to arrhythmia surgery, including atrial fibrillation procedures, in partnership with the electrophysiology team

• Interest in participating in clinical research

• 1:4 call coverage

• Largest heart program in South Florida with 700 open-heart cases annually

• Top 2 TAVR program in Florida, with approximately 250 cases performed annually

• Ongoing involvement in 10 open clinical research trials
