This role will support leadership development, onboarding, volunteer engagement, and recruiting initiatives across multiple campuses. Ministry experience is strongly preferred, as biblical principles and faith-based leadership values are integrated into training, development, and discipleship efforts throughout the organization.

Job Title: Training & Development Coordinator (Faith-Based Organization)

Position Summary:

The Training & Development Coordinator will support leadership development, onboarding, recruiting, staff training, and volunteer engagement efforts. This individual will play a key role in cultivating future leaders through coaching, mentoring, discipleship, and leadership development programs. The position partners closely with ministry leadership to create training initiatives that support organizational growth and spiritual development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and coordinate leadership development programs for staff, volunteers, interns, and residents.
Facilitate onboarding and training initiatives for new team members.
Assist with recruiting efforts and talent identification strategies.
Coach, mentor, and support emerging leaders through personal, professional, and spiritual development.
Support the design and implementation of internship and residency programs.
Create leadership pathways and growth-track opportunities for volunteers and staff.
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and leadership development events.
Promote a healthy culture centered around accountability, servant leadership, and continuous growth.
Collaborate with leadership to identify future staffing and leadership needs.
Support staff engagement, team development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of leadership, ministry, nonprofit, training, coaching, or people development experience.
Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing individuals and teams.
Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to lead training sessions, workshops, and group development activities.
Experience working with volunteers, teams, interns, or leadership development programs.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Ministry, church, nonprofit, or faith-based organizational experience preferred.
Experience with leadership development, discipleship, internship, or residency programs.
Background in recruiting, onboarding, talent development, or volunteer management.
Experience facilitating leadership training and coaching emerging leaders.
Understanding of biblical leadership principles and servant leadership practices.
