Miss J's Cafe Team Member

Miss J’s Cafe is the signature quick-service restaurant inside LV Petroleum Travel Centers. We serve fresh, made-to-order breakfast, lunch, and dinner favorites to professional drivers, travelers, and local guests in a fast-paced, friendly environment. 

Position Overview 

We are hiring energetic and customer-focused Team Members for Miss J’s Cafe. In this role, you will prepare fresh food, deliver excellent customer service, maintain cleanliness, and help create a great experience for every guest. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service. 

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure orders are prepared and delivered promptly. 

• Prepare menu items including sandwiches, salads, soups, and daily specials according to Miss J’s Café standards. 

• Operate kitchen equipment safely (grills, ovens, blenders, toasters, etc.). 

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including dining room, kitchen, and restrooms. 

• Handle cash and payments accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. 

• Assist with stocking, inventory, and receiving deliveries. 

• Work cooperatively with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts. 

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times. 

Requirements

Previous customer service or food service experience is a plus, but not required — we will train motivated candidates.

Positive, friendly attitude with strong customer service skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Basic math skills for cash handling.

Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.

Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
