We are seeking a Mission Architect to join the IGNITE team in Severn, MD

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Basic Qualifications

• BSEE degree with Masters degree preferred.
• Experience in leading multi-discipline project teams with hands on experience in the design, development and implementation of space electronic systems
• Active TS security clearance with the ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI

Desired Skills

• Act as the Mission Architect to develop electronics, systems and system-of-systems architectures.
• Demonstrated Systems Engineering experience in leading project teams itn the identification, flow down, implemenation and verification of system and sensor requirements.
• Ability to oversee and direct Risk/Opportunity Management Team.
• 15+ years of practical hands on experience
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $178500.00 - $331500.00
