Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide coordination and oversight of all domestic air and ground, as well as import and export shipments at gateway, including shipment and document preparation, booking, coordination of customs clearance, and pick-up and delivery in a 24/7/365 environment.
This is a remote position and we are open to various locations.
This role is an over night shift which includes a 1 hour break.
Saturday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Sunday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Monday: 10:45 PM - 7:00 AM
Tuesday: 10:45 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
Experience
3 years experience in time-critical logistics environment, preferably air/express/courier or same-day logistics.
Strong working knowledge of Import/Export operations, including point‑to‑point movements
Make quick decisions and innovative solutions to complex client logistics needs
Strong customer service skills (world class Customer service, performant under pressure, swift thinker, multitasker, attention to details, self-motivated, collaborative)
Previous experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word/Excel.
Ability to multitask and adapt to change in a high stress environment.
Ability to work independently
Collaborate with all team members to get shipments from point A to point B with a team mindset
Demonstrate the ability to quickly move from one task to another Is successful under pressure
Dangerous Goods knowledge (strongly preferred)
Education
Bachelor's degree and/or a min of 3 years of position-related, logistics experience is required
The base salary range for this role is $56,000 to $67,000. Actual base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
