Mitigation Project Coordinator

Bloque Restoration is looking for an experienced Mitigation Project Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day coordination of our mitigation projects, from the initial emergency response through completion of the mitigation scope and handoff to reconstruction.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands water mitigation, demolition, drying, equipment management, job site documentation, and crew coordination. You'll work closely with mitigation crews, customers, estimators, and leadership to make sure every project is properly documented, monitored, and completed before the rebuild begins.

What You'll Do

Mitigation Project & Crew Coordination

• Schedule, coordinate, and oversee mitigation crews across active projects
• Coordinate emergency response, demolition, water extraction, drying, cleaning, and other mitigation services
• Make sure crews have the equipment, materials, and project information needed to complete their work
• Monitor project timelines, drying progress, equipment placement, and overall job status
• Identify issues or delays and coordinate solutions with crews and leadership

Job Site Inspections & Quality Control

• Conduct regular job site inspections throughout the mitigation process
• Monitor drying conditions and verify equipment is properly placed, operating, and documented
• Ensure demolition and mitigation work follows the approved scope and company standards
• Identify incomplete or substandard work and coordinate corrective action
• Manage equipment and inventory across active mitigation projects

Documentation & Project Handoff

• Maintain complete mitigation documentation, including photos, moisture readings, equipment logs, daily notes, and job details
• Ensure project documentation supports insurance claims and accurately reflects the work performed
• Communicate project status, timelines, and next steps with customers
• Review the completed mitigation scope and ensure documentation is complete before the project is handed off to the reconstruction team
• Coordinate communication between customers, mitigation crews, estimators, and reconstruction leadership

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with real-world mitigation experience who understands what it takes to manage a project from the initial loss through the completion of the drying and demolition process.

Required:

• 2–3+ years of experience in water mitigation, restoration, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of the mitigation process, including water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and moisture monitoring
• Experience coordinating or managing mitigation crews
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple active mitigation projects and priorities
• Comfortable working in both office and field environments
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

• Previous experience as a Mitigation Project Coordinator, Mitigation Manager, Restoration Project Manager, or similar role
• IICRC certification, particularly WRT or ASD
• Mold or asbestos certification
• Experience with restoration documentation and estimating software
• Experience managing mitigation teams or crews
• Experience working with insurance-related restoration projects

The Ideal Candidate

You're organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of the mitigation process.

You understand that successful mitigation isn't just about getting equipment on site. It's about responding quickly, completing the right demolition, controlling the environment, properly drying the structure, monitoring progress, documenting everything, and communicating clearly throughout the process.

You know how to manage crews, stay ahead of project needs, catch problems before they become bigger issues, and make sure the mitigation file is complete before the project moves into reconstruction.

We're especially interested in candidates who have already worked in a similar mitigation role and can bring that experience to Bloque Restoration.

Compensation & Benefits

$55,000–$70,000/year, depending on experience and credentials.
