About the Role:Fine Line Restoration Inc. dba Rainbow Restoration of Shoreview is looking for a skilled Water and Fire Mitigation Technician to join our team in New Brighton, MN! This is a hands-on role where you'll make a real difference by helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and other property damage. Responsibilities:- Perform water, fire, and mold mitigation services on residential and commercial properties
- Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters
- Conduct moisture readings and document damage assessments throughout the mitigation process
- Perform controlled demolition including removal of damaged drywall, flooring, and insulation
- Communicate professionally with property owners and insurance adjusters on job progress
- Maintain, clean, and organize equipment and company vehicles
- Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours and weekend dispatch as needed
Requirements:- Prior experience in water/fire mitigation, restoration, or a related trade preferred
- IICRC certification (WRT, ASD) is a plus but not required — willingness to obtain is expected
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Ability to be on-call and respond to emergency situations in a timely manner
