About the Role:
Paul Davis Restoration of Central CT is looking for dependable, hardworking people who want to learn a skilled trade and help others.
As a Mitigation Technician, you will perform hands-on work to help restore homes and businesses affected by water, fire, mold, and other property damage. You will work alongside experienced team members, learn restoration procedures, and help complete projects safely and professionally.
You do not need previous restoration experience to apply. We are looking for a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. We provide paid training and guidance to help you build your skills.

Qualifications:- You are dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn. You bring a positive attitude and work well as part of a team.
- You communicate respectfully with customers and coworkers, pay attention to detail, and follow instructions, safety procedures, and company standards.
- You hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- You can frequently lift up to 75 pounds, perform physically demanding work, and work nights, weekends, and overtime and participate in an on-call schedule when needed.
- Previous restoration, construction, or related experience is a plus, but it is not required.
Responsibilities:- Perform assigned water mitigation, structural drying, tarping, board-up, mold remediation, carpet cleaning and reinstallation, and other restoration work under the direction of the Senior Mitigation Technician and management team.
- Assist with water extraction, demolition, cleaning, contents handling, and other tasks needed to mitigate property damage. Set up, monitor, move, and remove drying and mitigation equipment as directed.
- Help document job-site conditions by taking photos, recording moisture readings, and completing required documentation using company technology and job-management systems.
- Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized. Properly use and care for tools, equipment, vehicles, and supplies, and help keep company vehicles clean, stocked, and ready for work.
- Treat homeowners, property managers, and other customers with courtesy and empathy. Promptly communicate unexpected conditions, job-site concerns, or customer questions to the Senior Mitigation Technician or appropriate manager.
- Assist with warehouse and facility tasks, support other team members, remain accessible by phone, and participate in the required on-call schedule.
