MitigationTechnician
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
This position is for a
Mitigation Technician, focused on emergency services, property stabilization, water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, contents handling, and job-site documentation. While selective demolition may occasionally be required to access damaged building materials, the role is centered on
damage mitigation and preservation of property.

Responsibilities: - Water extraction and structural drying
- Installation and monitoring of drying equipment
- Mold and environmental remediation activities
- Emergency response services
- Property stabilization and damage mitigation
- Contents manipulation, cleaning, and pack-out services
- Moisture mapping and documentation
- Safe removal of non-salvageable materials as part of mitigation efforts
- Customer service and communication during emergency situations
- IICRC certification available as IICRC classes are offered
Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad, computer)
- Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Xactimate, MICA and additional systems as requested
- Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face
- Ability to work independently and / or with a team
- Ability to participate in an on-call schedule
- Ability to work within hazardous environments safely
- Ability to operate a company vehicle safely
- Maintain a level of confidentiality
Preferred Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or GED
- Customer Service experience
- 1 plus year experience in a craft, trade, or manual labor position or equivalent schooling
