What You Will Do
Design and develop immersive mixed reality applications that present complex data through intuitive, spatially-aware interfaces.
Integrate mixed reality experiences with existing data visualization and analytics platforms for enhanced user interaction.
Create performant and scalable XR solutions suitable for enterprise and field deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, UX designers, and product managers, to execute the mixed reality product roadmap.
Research and assess emerging mixed reality technologies to guide technical decisions and innovations.
Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and best practices to elevate engineering standards.
Prototype and iterate rapidly based on user feedback and operational requirements to refine product offerings.
Ideal Candidate Background
Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on mixed reality, augmented reality, or extended reality development.
Proven experience developing applications for platforms such as Microsoft HoloLens or Magic Leap, with strong proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine.
Solid software engineering fundamentals, including system design, performance optimization, and clean coding practices.
Experience integrating real-time data streams or APIs into interactive 3D or spatial environments.
Ability to thrive in a hybrid team environment, collaborating effectively both in-person and remotely.
Preferred
Experience developing software within government, defense, or other mission-critical sectors.
Familiarity with data visualization principles and tools, especially in enterprise or analytical contexts.
Knowledge of WebXR or browser-based mixed reality solutions.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $145K to $200K, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This company offers a compelling work environment where you can contribute to innovative projects that make a significant impact.
