We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mixer to join our manufacturing team. The Mixer is responsible for accurately preparing, blending, and processing raw materials to produce high-quality caulks and sealants. This role ensures product consistency, adheres to safety and quality standards, and supports production schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Production & Mixing
Accurately measure and weigh raw materials according to batch formulations.
Operate mixing equipment (e.g., agitators, high-speed dispersers) to blend caulk and sealant components.
Monitor mixing cycles and adjust parameters to meet product specifications.
Conduct in-process checks (viscosity, appearance, consistency) and document results.
Transfer mixed materials to storage tanks, drums, or packaging lines.
Quality & Documentation
Ensure each batch meets quality standards; report deviations or abnormalities.
Maintain accurate batch records, logs, and quality documentation.
Assist in sampling and testing for quality control purposes.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage, chemical handling, and spill response.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Comply with company, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
Maintenance & Support
Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of mixers and equipment.
Report mechanical issues to maintenance team.
Assist other production team members as needed to support workflow.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in industrial mixing, chemical production, or manufacturing preferred.
Experience handling chemicals or working with caulks/sealants is a plus.
Skills & Abilities
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Comfortable working with measuring tools and gauges.
Ability to read batch formulas and operate manufacturing controls.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment
Industrial/manufacturing setting with exposure to chemicals and machinery.
Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
