Mixer Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Mixer Operator to join their team. As a Mixer Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety-consciousness, and strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mixer Operator

Location: Morris, IL

Pay Rate: $22.02 

Shift: 3PM-11PM 

What's the Job?

• Use powered and unpowered hand trucks to position containers of chemicals and rubber safely and efficiently
• Identify different types of chemicals and rubber to ensure proper handling and processing
• Utilize the “#11 Banbury Mixing Sheet” to confirm the correct ingredients per batch
• Operate the #11 Banbury mixer in both automatic and manual modes, adjusting settings as needed
• Maintain a clean mixer, including the mixer door and throat, free of excess buildup to ensure safety and efficiency

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to repeatedly lift at least 75 lbs safely
• Must be able to read and understand directions, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong safety habits and awareness of safe work practices
• Basic understanding of PLC screens and temperature adjustments is a plus
