Clinical Pharmacist – Oncology Infusion (IV Compounding)

  • $63 – $78/hr (based on experience)
  • Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No nights, no weekends)

Looking to move into oncology or infusion pharmacy?

This is a great opportunity for a licensed Pharmacist to transition into a clinical oncology setting focused on infusion therapy, sterile compounding, and chemotherapy preparation.

Retail and hospital pharmacists are encouraged to apply. Strong core pharmacy knowledge, attention to detail, and comfort with calculations are required. Training is provided for pharmacists entering oncology/infusion.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $63 – $78/hr (based on experience)

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare chemotherapy, biologic, and IV infusion medications using aseptic technique
  • Compound sterile medications in compliance with USP 797/800 standards
  • Verify physician orders, patient information, and dosage calculations
  • Perform pharmacy math and dosing calculations accurately
  • Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous drugs
  • Maintain medication inventory, ordering, and documentation (logs, lot tracking)
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff for timely medication preparation

What We’re Looking For
  • Active Pharmacist license (required)
  • Strong pharmacy math and calculation skills
  • Understanding of medication safety and sterile technique principles
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and clinical judgment
  • Willingness to learn oncology and infusion workflows

Retail and hospital pharmacists encouraged to apply. Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Schedule & Environment
  • Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends or nights)
  • Outpatient oncology infusion pharmacy setting
  • Team-based, high-volume clinical environment
  • PPE required
