Responsibilities:
- Follows physicianorders and administersregularlyscheduled oral, topical,suppository, nasaland ocular medications to residents who are clinicallystable.
- Consults with the Nurse to assess a resident who requests a "prn" (as needed) medication.
- Reports to Nurse observations regardingchanges in resident'sstatus.
- Observes the five rights of medicationadministration.
- Ensures that Resident's medications are re-ordered ina timely fashion and are available for scheduled and prn administration.
- Adheres to duties and responsibilitiesas LNA.
- Completes any duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA) licensed by the State of New Hampshire.
- Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
