Emergency Room RN – Travel Assignment

Position: Emergency Room RN
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Start: Quick Start
License: Active state RN license required
Experience: Minimum 3 years; 3–5 years preferred

Job Requirements:

• Strong Emergency Department experience required
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
• Fast-paced adult community ED
• 16 beds | Approximately 25,000 cases annually
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3–4
• Minimal trauma or pediatric patients
• Experience with stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory/cardiac conditions, and orthopedic cases preferred

Required Skills:

• IV insertion
• PICC/Central Line management
• 12-lead EKG
• Telemetry interpretation
• Cardioversion/defibrillation
• Procedural sedation
• CPAP/BiPAP
• Ventilator management
• Trach care

Preferred:

• Chemical dependency/behavioral health experience

Certifications:

• BLS/BCLS
• ACLS

Important: Travelers may be downstaffed from 36/48 hours depending on the facility's weekly schedule during the 13-week contract.
