Job Summary
Our client is seeking a CT or MRI Technologist to provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. The role involves performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital radiography equipment, unloading equipment, performing EKGs, and maintaining communication with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Operating portable (DR) or (CR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
Driving company vehicle with radiology equipment [If applicable to position] to various locations (State owned long-term care facilities) to perform various x-ray/CT exams as ordered by the physician
Obtaining and scanning required exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
Communicating regularly with dispatch and management.
Communicating efficiently and interacting professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
Maintaining vehicle and x-ray equipment. Technologist must care for their equipment in a professional manner.
Training other technologists as required.
Performing special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements
Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification and or CT/MRI Certification or Registry Eligible within 3 months (Limited License not acceptable)
1 Year experience in any of the following:
Meditech RAD – Radiology
Mammography
Radiology
1 Year experience in any of the following:
Echocardiogram (echo)
Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
Echocardiography
Driver’s License
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination or exemption request
