    Salary Range: $36 – $36 per year
    Position Summary
    A leading organization is seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer 3 to join their facilities engineering team on an onsite basis in Traverse City, Michigan.     Core Responsibilities
    • Lead and manage mobile engineering projects and initiatives, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs across multiple building systems and equipment
    • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and structural issues requiring advanced technical knowledge
    • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of specialized repair and installation work
    • Maintain detailed documentation of all engineering work, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and compliance records
    • Ensure all facilities operations comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
    • Respond to emergency situations and urgent facility issues with swift, effective solutions
    • Collaborate with facility managers and department heads to prioritize maintenance projects and allocate resources efficiently
    • Perform regular equipment calibration, testing, and certification to maintain operational reliability
    • Develop cost-effective solutions for facility improvements and upgrades
    • Train and supervise team members on proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices

    Must-Have Requirements
    • Minimum five years of professional facilities engineering experience
    • Proven multi-trade background with hands-on expertise in at least three different mechanical or building trades
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural components
    • Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems and building management software
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for mobile site visits
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
    • Physical capability to perform field work, including climbing, lifting, and working in various environmental conditions
    • Commitment to safety protocols and ability to maintain OSHA compliance knowledge
