What you will lead

• Own day-to-day service operations, from scheduling and workflow management to hitting productivity goals
• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of field and shop technicians
• Drive repair order accuracy and throughput—on-time completion and precise documentation
• Resolve customer escalations and set expectations with proactive, consistent communication
• Partner with parts, sales, and operations to deliver fast, efficient service in the field
• Champion safety and compliance—DOT, OSHA, and company policies—every job, every time
• Track performance metrics and implement continuous process improvements
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for service personnel
• Oversee inventory and ensure tools and equipment are maintained, calibrated, and mission-ready

What you bring

• Background as a Service Manager, Shop Manager, or similar leader in diesel, mechanical, automotive, or fleet service
• Proven leadership, team-building, and communication strengths
• Sharp organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset
• Comfort with service management platforms; Fullbay experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on understanding of diesel, mechanical, or automotive systems
• Valid driver's license; must pass pre-employment background and drug screening

Preferred extras

• Proficiency with basic computer systems and productivity tools
• Experience optimizing technician schedules and workflow with shop software
• Working knowledge of DOT and OSHA safety regulations
• Success in a mobile or field service operation
