About the Role:
GD Mobile Truck Repair Inc is looking for a skilled Mobile Fleet Technician to join our team in Syracuse, NY! This is a hands-on, road-based role where you'll bring expert diesel and fleet repairs directly to our customers — keeping trucks rolling and businesses moving. Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on commercial trucks and fleet vehicles
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, and drivetrain components
• Conduct preventive maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
• Respond to roadside service calls and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs and parts used
• Manage and stock mobile service vehicle with necessary tools, parts, and equipment
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to customers and dispatch

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet technician, or heavy-duty truck technician
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and brake systems
• Ability to work independently in a mobile, field-based environment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred)
• Own a basic set of professional mechanic's tools
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including potential on-call or weekend availability
