Job Description: Missouri Organic Recycling is currently seeking a dependable, hands-on Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet, including excavators, loaders, trucks, trailers, and more. This role is ideal for problem solvers who value being part of a team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers
  • Perform routine maintenance and handle repairs
  • Inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic, engine, and mechanical systems
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards
  • Keep equipment in top working condition to support daily operations
  • Preventative maintenance and repair procedures relating to John Deere equipment.
  • Complete all reports and required documentation daily.
  • Good communication with Fleet Manager.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

 

Qualifications we consider:

  • CDL B required.
  • Minimum of 1 year working with Heavy-Duty Diesel Engine Experience
  • Knowledge on both Diesel & Gasoline Engines
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics, diagnostics, and calibration.
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs, work in varied weather conditions, and handle noisy environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, safe work habits, and customer-first attitude.
