Our client, a leading organization in commercial building maintenance and HVAC services, is seeking a Mobile HVAC/Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC/Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting multiple commercial properties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mobile HVAC/Facilities Technician
Pay range: $28 - $32/hr
Location: Florence, South Carolina
Strong HVAC background, building maintenance, shell maintenance.
Plumbing, small issues.
Nice to have chiller experience.
Strong background in at least 30/40/50 ton units.
What's the Job?
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including packaged units, air handlers, chillers, and boilers
- Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot electrical distribution, plumbing, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems
- Execute work orders efficiently using CMMS technology with minimal supervision
- Conduct facility inspections and report conditions impacting client operations
- Travel within assigned territory to support multiple client locations and ensure optimal system performance
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or trade school degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering with a focus on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Universal EPA/CFC certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
