Our client, a leading organization in the retail and facilities management industry, is seeking a dedicated Mobile HVAC/R Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC/R Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Mobile HVAC/R Technician
Location: Cleveland, OH
Pay Rate: $36-40/hr
What's the Job?
- Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in an energy-efficient, safe manner, minimizing downtime through proactive repairs and record-keeping.
- Perform inspections and repairs on interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment related to HVAC and refrigeration systems, demonstrating technical proficiency.
- Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for work order management and update work status in real-time.
What's Needed?
- Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a focus on HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems.
- Valid state driver’s license and willingness to perform call-in work as required.
- Strong understanding of system design, applications, and preventative maintenance practices.
