Our client, a leading provider of commercial building maintenance services, is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting multiple properties in the Richmond, VA area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician
Location: Richmond, VA
What's the Job?
- Support the operational maintenance of 10 to 15 commercial buildings in the Richmond, VA area.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire safety, boilers, refrigeration units, and pumps.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper functioning of complex building systems.
- Utilize company-provided tools and vehicle to visit properties and address maintenance needs.
- Document work performed using CMMS systems and maintain accurate records of equipment history and repairs.
What's Needed?
- 0-2 years of experience in general maintenance or a related field.
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with Building Management Systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, and climbing.
