Our client, a leader in facilities management and maintenance services, is seeking a dedicated Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Support team, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical building systems across multiple locations. Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician
Location: Rochester, NY
What's the Job?
- Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems to ensure facilities meet applicable standards.
- Travel between multiple facilities to ensure proper operation and functionality.
- Maintain responsibility for facility services, including preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and oversight of contracted maintenance.
- Maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment through cleaning, inspection, calibration, and replacement of parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Proven ability to analyze mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; diagnose malfunctions; and perform corrective actions.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification.
- Valid driver’s license and working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
