Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance services, is seeking a dedicated Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be an essential part of the operations supporting multiple facilities across South Central Illinois. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasks, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician
Location: Springfield, IL
Pay Rate: $40/hr
What's the Job?
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across multiple systems and locations.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Travel between facilities, ensuring all systems function properly and efficiently.
- Maintain responsibility for preventative maintenance, inventory control, and contracted maintenance services.
- Record readings, calibrate equipment, and make adjustments to maintain system performance.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Proficiency in analyzing and troubleshooting Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification required; EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to utilize a company vehicle.
