Mobile HVAC Technician

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance services, is seeking a dedicated Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be an essential part of the operations supporting multiple facilities across South Central Illinois. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasks, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician

Location: Springfield, IL

Pay Rate: $40/hr

What's the Job?

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across multiple systems and locations.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Travel between facilities, ensuring all systems function properly and efficiently.
• Maintain responsibility for preventative maintenance, inventory control, and contracted maintenance services.
• Record readings, calibrate equipment, and make adjustments to maintain system performance.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5-7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Proficiency in analyzing and troubleshooting Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification required; EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to utilize a company vehicle.
