Basic Job Functions:
The role of theMobileMaintenance Electricianis to be a great Nucor team member who demonstrates high levels of honesty, integrity, and ownership in everything they do.The successful candidatewill be part of ateamthat performs maintenance on, repairs and improvesthe mobile equipment and Overheadcranes, as well as supports the overall operation of the steel making process.Thesuccessful candidate must be willing to work holidays andshifts which include nights and weekends. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fundamental understanding of electrical theory
- 3+ yearsindustrial electrical maintenance experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-year or 4-year degree in electrical or related field
- Experience maintaining overhead cranes
- Knowledge of OverheadCrane Inspection criteria
