Mobile Maintenance Mechanic 3

Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic 3 to join their team. As a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic 3, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational needs of the Columbus, OH market. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic 3

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $25-$29/hr

What's the Job?

• Support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment and systems in assigned facilities.
• Assist Mobile Engineers (HVAC/R) and Control Systems Technicians with maintenance and repair efforts, while also independently performing defined tasks.
• Maintain lighting systems, including bulbs and ballasts, and assist in general interior maintenance such as HVAC/R coil cleaning, kitchen equipment repairs, and minor plumbing repairs.
• Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and other general maintenance duties as assigned.
• Be available for on-call emergency support outside regular working hours, ensuring the safety and functionality of facilities at all times.

What's Needed?

• Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience in general building repair, basic plumbing, and electrical work is preferred.
• Physical ability to climb, bend, kneel, lift, and drive frequently, with excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
