About our role:

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Planner to join our maintenance team and support the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities across a large mobile mining fleet. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring maintenance work is planned, resourced, and executed safely and efficiently to maximize equipment availability and reliability.

Your focus in this role:

  • Develop detailed maintenance plans for scheduled and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Create, manage, and maintain work orders within the Pronto CMMS.
  • Plan labour, tooling, parts, and external resources required for maintenance tasks.
  • Build and maintain short-term and long-term maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with maintenance supervisors, reliability personnel, and operations teams to optimise equipment downtime.
  • Monitor maintenance backlog and ensure work orders are prioritised appropriately.
  • Ensure maintenance plans align with OEM recommendations and site maintenance strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning processes and equipment reliability.
  • Review completed work orders and update maintenance records accurately.
  • Generate maintenance reports, KPIs, and planning metrics as required.
  • Assist with shutdown and major component replacement planning activities.

What You'll Bring:

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Mobile Plant, or related discipline.

  • Previous experience in a maintenance planning role within the mining industry.

  • Strong working knowledge of Pronto CMMS, including work order management, maintenance scheduling, and reporting.

  • Experience planning maintenance for mobile mining equipment such as:

  • Excavators

  • Haul Trucks

  • Loaders

  • Drills

  • Ancillary Equipment

  • Sound understanding of preventative, corrective, and condition-based maintenance strategies.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and engineering documentation.

  • Current C Class Driver''s Licence.
