Description
Start a hands-on career where your work actually matters.
Quality Conveyor Solutions (QCS) is one of the largest conveyor service providers on the East Coast. We keep critical operations running across industries like mining, aggregates, power, and manufacturing-and we're looking for motivated individuals to join our field service team. If you're mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and not afraid of physical work, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career in a high-demand trade.
What You'll Do
Assist with on-site maintenance, repair, and service of conveyor systems
Work alongside experienced technicians to complete field jobs safely and efficiently
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Support both field service work and occasional shop/warehouse tasks
Follow all OSHA/MSHA and company safety standards
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
What the Job Is Really Like
Work takes place in various industrial environments (plants, mines, construction sites), which may include exposure to temperature extremes, humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and fumes from adhesives, solvents, and paints.
You'll be working physically-lifting, climbing, and being on your feet. You may be asked to safely lift 75-100 pounds frequently, using proper lifting techniques.
Schedules can vary, including days, nights, weekends, and on-call work
Safety is non-negotiable-PPE and procedures are strictly followed, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves, and other required protective equipment as required.
What We're Looking For
At least 1 year of mechanical or hands-on experience (automotive, construction, industrial, etc.)
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
Good communication skills
Valid driver's license (required upon hire and as a condition of continued employment)
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Why Join QCS
Clear career path to higher-skilled roles (including splice technician, crew lead, etc.)
Work with a team that values safety, reliability, and getting the job done right
Exposure to a wide range of industries and equipment
Competitive pay + sign-on bonus
Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, life insurance)
