    Job Description

    Build Your Career with LiftOne

LiftOne, part of the fourth-generation Weisiger Group and nearing its 100th year, keeps America’s supply chain moving by servicing the machines that move essential goods. Our reputation rests on trust, integrity, and service excellence—and on skilled technicians who make uptime happen.

    The Role: Field-Based Technician

Picture your day: you start from home, head to a customer site, and quickly pinpoint an issue on a forklift—whether it’s internal combustion (gas, diesel, LP) or electric. You run safety and preventive checks, replace worn parts, and verify operation. On your tablet, you document the work in ServiceMax (or a similar maintenance system), explain findings to the customer, and plan parts for the next visit. Between calls, you organize your service vehicle and parts inventory so you’re always ready for the next challenge. Every stop is a chance to represent LiftOne with professionalism and pride.

    Who Thrives Here

Technicians with automotive, diesel, military, or heavy equipment backgrounds who love hands-on diagnostics and solving problems. If you understand hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, and modern diagnostic methods, we’ll build on that foundation with specialized, industry-specific training.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Diagnose, service, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment across gas, diesel, LP, and electric platforms
    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and thorough safety inspections
    • Use a computerized work order platform (e.g., ServiceMax) to record work and communicate with customers
    • Care for your assigned service vehicle, tools, and on-board parts
    • Deliver a professional customer experience that reflects LiftOne’s standards

    What You Bring

    • 2+ years in material handling or related experience (automotive, diesel, military, or heavy equipment)
    • Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
    • Self-directed work style suited to field service
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Customer-first mindset and positive, can-do attitude
    • Familiarity with ServiceMax or comparable maintenance/work order tools preferred
    • Commitment to safety, following company and customer protocols at all times

    Compensation, Tools, and Benefits

    • Competitive pay commensurate with experience
    • Comprehensive factory and OEM training to keep your skills sharp
    • Company service vehicle, gas card, and uniforms for field roles
    • Company-provided tablet and phone
    • Full benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage
    • HSA and FSA options
    • Access to chiropractic and physical therapy visits through insurance enrollment (subject to plan eligibility and limitations)
    • 401(k) with company match
    • Company-paid life insurance and short- and long-term disability
    • Paid time off, holidays, and personal leave
    • Career growth opportunities across the Weisiger Group family of companies
    • A family-oriented culture backed by nearly a century of stability

    Join Our Legacy

If you’re ready to elevate your mechanical career with a company that values your craft, invests in your growth, and treats you like family, you’ll feel right at home at LiftOne.
