The Mobile Mechanic will perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs primarily on passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, commercial vehicles, and mixed fleets. Operating on-site at customer locations, this role involves independent work with occasional collaboration within a small team. Travel is expected within the local area and occasionally regionally to provide efficient, high-quality service directly to clients.
Responsibilities
Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify issues accurately
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on various vehicle types
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems efficiently
Replace parts as necessary to restore vehicle functionality
Interact professionally with customers to explain repairs and maintenance
Provide on-site service ensuring convenience and quality
Manage tools and equipment to maintain readiness and safety
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Entry-level experience in automotive repair
Knowledge of engine repair and brake systems
Familiarity with diagnostic tools
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Understanding of safety procedures
