Job Summary

As a Mobile Phlebotomist at Aculabs, you will travel to various nursing homes to collect blood samples from patients. Your primary focus will be on providing efficient and compassionate phlebotomy services while ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.

Aculabs, a leading provider of laboratory services to long-term care facilities throughout the Mid-Atlantic, is looking for Phlebotomists to join our mobile team. Ideal Candidate Location

Ideal Candidates are located in Milford, CT and willing to travel to surrounding areas as part of their daily work schedule.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm
  • Monday to Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, with Weekend Rotation
Retention Bonus

Earn up to $1,000 in retention bonuses!

  • $500 at 3 months
  • $500 at 6 months

To qualify for the retention bonus, employees must:

  • Maintain regular attendance with no unexcused absences during this period.
  • Maintain a clean record, with no performance deficiencies or facility complaints on file.
  • Remain in full compliance with the Employee Handbook, with no violations.

All retention bonus payments are subject to meeting the eligibility requirements above.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to different nursing homes to collect blood samples
  • Follow established procedures for sample collection and handling
  • Interact with patients professionally and provide necessary information
  • Maintain proper documentation of samples collected
  • Adhere to safety and infection control policies

Requirements

  • Phlebotomy certification and experience (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Personal Mobile Phone
