We have an immediate opening for a mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Mobile Service Technician based in Portland, Oregon.
In this role, you will be provided with a company service van and will travel throughout Oregon performing inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and testing on hydraulic rescue equipment, commonly known as the "Jaws of Life." These critical tools are used by fire departments and emergency responders across the region.
The ideal candidate will have a background as a mechanic, small engine technician, maintenance technician, firefighter, or a similar hands-on technical role. Success in this position requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Our primary customers are fire departments, so we are looking for someone who is just as comfortable interacting with customers as they are working with tools. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with your assigned accounts, identifying service opportunities, and helping grow existing business through excellent customer service. While this role includes a commission component, it is not a cold-calling or business development position. Growth comes from taking care of customers and delivering exceptional service.
