1st SHIFT $17.00/hr
Hours: 4:00m - 2:30 pm - Monday thru Thursday 10 HOUR SHIFTS- Overtime Friday Mandatory

POSITION OVERVEW & PURPOSE:
The Production Associates responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks to support assembly and production of metal products. The Assembler may work in a variety of workstations including but not limited to: assembly line/operator, packing, glue machine operator, poly handler/operator, channel forming installer, labeler, grinder and ring/channel welder. This is a mechanical position under the supervision of the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform general shop and fabrication tasks
• Use hand and power tools, including grinders, safely and effectively
• Assist with basic welding tasks (prior experience preferred)
• Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Support team members with production and assembly needs
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Depending on experience could be required to shadow one or more workstations above.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a group environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must demonstrate basic problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational skills related to managing paperwork and time

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Some welding experience (MIG, TIG, or stick preferred but not required)
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Experience using a grinder or similar shop tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must pass a background check
• Must have steeled-toed shoes

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Thursday 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM 10 HOUR SHIFTS- Overtime Friday Mandatory

• Pay: $17.00/hr
