This person will work on a Human Research Program that develops methods to protect the health and performance of astronauts in space, aiming for missions to Mars and beyond. The team utilizes ground research facilities, the international space station, and analog environments to enable cutting-edge science.Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders and experts in medical, flight operations, clinical science, and space flight program Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I).Apply systems engineering principles rigorously and implement systems engineering products and processes across the SE lifecycle.Work with the full Systems Engineering team to identify customer problems and propose digital engineering solutions.Provide Model-Based Systems Engineering and SysML guidance to teammates and customers.Manage SysML models and administer MBSE tools.Must-Haves Requirements B.S. in an Engineering field and M.S. in Aerospace or Systems Engineering.Minimum 7 years of experience in Systems Engineering, with professional experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering.Experience using the System Modeling Language (SysML) in MagicDraw (Cameo Systems Modeler).Data visualization skills in Power BI, task automation using Power Automate, and experience with user applications in Power Apps.Familiarity with Agile methodologies.Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience with Jira and Confluence.Experience building and integrating Power Apps solutions.Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Cradle, or JAMA.Compensation: $40/hr to $60/hr, with exact amounts varying based on skills, experience, and education.Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, FSA, DCFSA options, 401(k) with employer matching, paid sick leave, and other paid time off as per law.Additional Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: ContractIndustries: Defense, Space Manufacturing, Software Development#J-18808-Ljbffr
