Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE)Location: Dayton, OH (Onsite)We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support advanced intelligence analysis, modeling, and simulation initiatives within a defense-focused engineering environment. This role supports the development of authoritative engineering models and analytical solutions contributing to national security and aerospace defense missions. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with engineers, software developers, analysts, and cross-functional technical teams to support complex systems and systems-of-systems engineering efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and analyze Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts and integrated engineering datasets for complex systems and architecturesUtilize SysML to model system architectures, behaviors, interfaces, and operational workflowsSupport engineering analysis, simulation, and systems integration activities within a collaborative multi-disciplinary environmentProduce and present technical documentation, engineering models, reports, and architecture artifactsCollaborate with internal engineering teams, external stakeholders, and government personnel to support mission objectivesContribute to systems engineering lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, validation, and configuration managementSupport modeling and simulation efforts to improve system performance, operational effectiveness, and analytical capabilitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM fieldMinimum of 3 years of relevant engineering or MBSE experienceExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and SysMLProficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, or Enterprise ArchitectExperience developing and maintaining engineering models for complex systems or systems-of-systemsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectivelyAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentActive TS/SCI Security Clearance or ability to obtain onePreferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Engineering or related technical fieldOCSMP, INCOSE CSEP, PMP, or related certificationsKnowledge of SysML 2.0Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, or PythonFamiliarity with DoDAF, UAF, or related architecture frameworksExperience analyzing engineering and architecture data to solve complex technical problemsKnowledge of aerospace and defense systems engineering processesFamiliarity with modeling and simulation (M&S) tools, methodologies, and best practicesClearance RequirementActive TS/SCI Security Clearance preferred, or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.#J-18808-Ljbffr
