The Model Shop Machinist is responsible for the fabrication, modification, repair, and assembly of precision parts, tooling, fixtures, and equipment used to support manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and facility operations. This position requires a skilled machinist capable of working independently from engineering drawings, sketches, and customer requirements to produce high-quality components utilizing conventional and CNC machining equipment.

Salary: onsemi is excited to share the hourly range for this position is $21.20/hr to $36.92/hr exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of the internal equity of our current team members. - Select appropriate materials, tooling, cutting parameters, and machining techniques.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and provide status updates on assigned work.
- Support material procurement by identifying required materials and components for assigned projects.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and efficiency.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
