Apogee has a new and exciting position for Modeling, MBSE & SysML Architecture Engineer that will Provide senior-level MBSE leadership and SysML architecture development to enable dynamic, model-centric intelligence products. Delivers technical recommendations on performance, feasibility, and alignment of models and architectures with mission objectives.

Responsibilities:
Lead the development and maintenance of MBSE models and SysML architectures for NASIC mission systems and analytic workflows.
Assess performance, feasibility, and technical risk of proposed model-centric solutions.
Develop architecture views and model artifacts that support dynamic, model-driven intelligence products.
Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and leadership to ensure models accurately represent mission requirements and constraints.
Establish modeling conventions, patterns, and reusable components.
Produce the monthly MBSE Performance and Feasibility Assessment Report with technical recommendations.
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintainTS/SCI Education / Years of Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
8+ years of experience in systems engineering, including 4+ years focused on MBSE.
Hands-on experience creating and managing SysML models using common MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect).
Strong understanding of DoDAF/UAF or similar architectural frameworks.
Proven ability to translate mission and stakeholder needs into model-based requirements and architectures.
Strong communication skills to present complex models and findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline.
Experience applying MBSE in intelligence, aerospace, or complex C4ISR systems.
Familiarity with digital engineering ecosystems, model repositories, and integration with simulation tools.
Experience with model-based analysis for performance, reliability, or mission effectiveness.
