Position Summary: Modernization Fixtures Drafter (MOD Fixtures Drafter)- Supports the design and documentation of elevator fixture packages for modernization projects.
- Converts contract-specific design requirements into accurate AutoCAD drawings using established standards, templates, and work blocks.
- Produces project-specific fixture drawings and factory build files.
- Collaborates with local office personnel to ensure customer and project requirements are met.
- Delivers high-quality fixture drawings in a fast-paced environment to support increased project volume.
Responsibilities: Modernization Fixtures Drafter (MOD Fixtures Drafter)- Create, modify, and maintain technical fixture drawings using AutoCAD.
- Translate contract-specific data and design specifications into layouts and drawings.
- Develop base configuration drawings and customize them to meet project requirements.
- Produce approval drawings, revisions, and final construction packages.
- Create build files and documentation required by manufacturing facilities.
- Review project requirements to ensure compliance with standards and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with local offices and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve specification issues and clarify requirements with client's local office staff.
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Maintain documentation, revision history, and drawing records.
- Follow established drafting standards, processes, and templates.
Required Qualifications: Modernization Fixtures Drafter (MOD Fixtures Drafter)- Minimum of 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
- Solid understanding of technical drawings, layouts, and drafting principles.
- Experience translating specifications into detailed drawings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and contract documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workload independently.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications: Modernization Fixtures Drafter (MOD Fixtures Drafter)- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline preferred.
