Yard Technician (Modular / Construction Focus)
Location: Christiana, TN
Pay Rate: $23-$25 DOE
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (OT as needed)
Work Model: Onsite

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Yard Technician with a strong background in carpentry and construction who can hit the ground running on day one. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
The right candidate will be a self-starter and problem-solver who can work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship across modular units and mobile office spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry repairs and modifications on modular units (walls, doors, flooring, framing, etc.)
- Complete basic electrical and plumbing repairs, including lighting and fixture replacement
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and refurbishment of mobile office units
- Maintain yard organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Manage and track materials and inventory
- Load/unload units, furniture, and equipment
- Operate forklifts and utility trailers as needed
- Interact professionally with team members and customers on job sites
- Support additional yard and production tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Strong carpentry experience REQUIRED (must be able to work independently with minimal training)
- Background in construction, modular buildings, or general maintenance/repair
- Experience using hand and power tools confidently
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Forklift experience (or willingness to become certified)
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Organized and safety-conscious
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in modular buildings, mobile offices, or similar industries
- HVAC experience is a plus
- Experience operating trailers or heavy equipment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment in a yard/construction environment
- Exposure to noise, dust, and varying climate conditions
