Mold Setup Technician

• Operate hoists to pull and set molds accurately.
• Perform all material handling duties efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and complete all backside setup duties.
• Install and verify hot runner cables and other necessary components.
• Set up and verify EOAT (End of Arm Tooling) and load robot programs.
• Ensure the process setup checklist is completed and validated.
• Confirm cell layout matches specifications as per the blue book.
• Purge new materials and prepare equipment for startup.
• Execute simple start-ups under the guidance of a Process Technician.
• Ensure all materials and components from previous jobs are removed and the area is clean before starting new operations.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization in the work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a setup technician or die setter
• Ability to pass certification for hilo, overhead crane, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.

Preferences:

• Experience with injection molding or blow molding techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
