Now Hiring: Molding / Machine Operator 3rd Shift

Location: Byron Center, MI
Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: Sundy Thursday, 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
No weekends steady, full-time hours

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated Production Associates/Machine Operators to support daily manufacturing operations on 1st shift. In this role, you will operate production equipment, ensure quality standards are met, assist with packaging, and help keep production running efficiently.

What You ll Do

  • Operate manufacturing equipment such as pre-expansion systems, molding machines, lamination lines, and automated production lines

  • Verify equipment setup before production runs and safely start, monitor, and shut down machinery

  • Review work orders and ensure parts are produced to correct specifications including material type, size, weight, density, and shape

  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet established standards

  • Bundle, wrap, stack, assemble, pack, and label products according to production instructions

  • Assist with training new employees as assigned

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Follow all safety procedures, quality guidelines, and company policies

  • Complete required training and demonstrate proficiency within the first 60 days

What We re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Prior manufacturing or industrial experience is helpful but not required training provided

  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions

  • Basic math skills and ability to use simple measuring tools

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

  • Comfortable working around machinery and in a manufacturing environment
