Molding Extrusion Technician II
2nd Shift Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
JOB SUMMARY
Works independently to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair and improve injection molding and plastic extrusion equipment. Daily activities to maintain the injection molding and plastic extrusion equipment include performing PM's and monitoring equipment performance. Job duties also include troubleshooting and repair on mechanical, pneumatic; hydraulic, electrical, and controls systems with regards to the injection molding and plastic extrusion equipment. Identifies opportunities to improve equipment performance and ability to manage small/large projects on the equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
High school diploma or GED.
Experience
Minimum 7-years' experience with direct plastic processing experience.
Skills
Technical Skills
Hands-on injection molding set-up experience and knowledge of mold design and construction.
Hands-on plastic extrusion set-up experience and knowledge of die design and construction.
Capable of doing mold maintenance including mold configurations without error.
Capable of performing extrusion maintenance, cleanings, and configuration without error.
Skilled in cleanroom and automated processes
Ability to read and understand complex mechanical, electrical drawings, flowcharts, and/or other drawings of a technical nature.
Demonstrated understanding and compliance with all safety requirements.
Advanced Electrical/ Mechanical/ Hydraulic knowledge concerning machines and tools including design, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Manufacturing Environment requirements include: use of personal protective equipment, reading, speaking, hearing, walking, bending, standing, stretching/reaching, and hand/finger dexterity.

Target Pay Range: $29.00 to $37.00 - Hourly pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base: 7.0%
