2nd shift (3pm-11pm) Positions will require mandatory Overtime. Will be working 6-7 days a week. Overtime can be in the form of weekly OT not just weekend. Job Responsibilities • Comply with all requirements regarding safety and quality compliance and regulations. • Perform production inspections and document results while monitoring part output and part quality from molding machines. • Weigh count production, pack parts, and accurately label the production. • Report abnormalities and corrective action to shift leader/supervision. • Responsible for accurate documentation per Good Manufacturing Practices on production and quality records, cleaning forms, batch folder, etc. • Participate in and complete all required training. • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises. • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management. • Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). • Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur. • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Basic knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulations a plus. • Mechanical aptitude required. • Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures. • Able to complete documentation legibly. • Trained as forklift driver preferred. • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. • Low absenteeism. • Must be able to work overtime as required. • Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure CL-01-01-037. • Audiometric testing and hearing protection required. Physical Requirements • Ability to bend, stoop and climb ladders. • Ability to stand for long periods of time. • Ability to push and/or pull up to 75 pounds. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to lift above the shoulder up to 20 pounds. Work Environment • In a Class I Controlled Environment which includes the following dress/gowning requirements: safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask and boots (additional PPE required when cleaning). • Constant or intermittent exposure to elevated levels of noise. • Involves working around equipment, machinery and belts. • Requires occasionally working with chemical cleaners and disinfectants. Required Education and Experience • High school diploma required. • Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.
